The other day Dan went out to cut the grass around the compressor when he came across this fawn.  They say the mother is never far away and he found that to be true.  Out of nowhere she appeared and started charging at him. Needless to say he decided to leave the grass cutting for another day. He went inside and from our deck was able to get a picture of him.  The very next day I found him by the door of our screened in porch under a table.  He did not even move as our dog TJ passed.  TJ did not even notice the fawn as he went about his business.  I suppose the fawn plans to make our backyard his home until he grows a little more so when we go out we will have to be very careful.
